Parish Information
This group
of parishes has a population of about 270 Anglicans. There is a three-floor parish
hall situated in Longford town and a 3–teacher school with 55 pupils close by.
There are a broad spectrum of parish organisations including:
GFS, BB, MU, Sunday School, Table Tennis and Badminton. A warm relationship with
Longford Methodist Church existed long before the Covenant was signed in 2000;
they have a long tradition of providing Youth Clubs and Holiday Bible Clubs in the area.
In the months where there is a fifth Sunday all the churches combine for a single Act of Worship,
occasionally including our Methodist friends.
Cordial relations between all the larger Churches is a feature of life in Longford.
