This group of parishes is made up of five churches - Castleterra (Ballyhaise), Drung, Killoughter (Redhills) and Larah & Lavey (Near Stradone).

Drung Church

Location: From Cavan take the Cootehill Road. The church is approx. 8 kms from Cavan Town on right hand side.

Castleterra Church

Location: From Cavan take the bypass towards Enniskillen. Take Ballyhaise/Redhills exit from Bypass, through Ballyhaise village, church on left hand side.

Killoughter Church

Location: take Ballyhaise/Redhills exit from Bypass, continue through Ballyhaise, past Agricultural College, after approx. 7 kms turn left at cross roads signposted Redhills, after approx. 4kms church on right hand side.

Larah & Lavey United Parish Church

Location: From Cavan on Main Cavan/Dublin Road take left turn for Larah, turn left at ‘The Cross’ and proceed to Larah. Turn right at ‘Larah House’, church on left hand side.

Parish Information

The group consists of 120 families. There is a regular healing service, usually on the evening of the fifth Sunday. Sunday school meets during service time except on the third Sunday in each parish when there is an informal Family Service. A healer prayer group meets monthly on the second Monday. Mothers’ Union meets monthly on the second Thursday. Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Friendly Society meets weekly on Fridays from October to March.
